Abbotsbury as a village offers the Sub tropical gardens, the Swannery and the tithe barn children’s farm, as well as many interesting craft shops, tea rooms, and the famous St Catherines Chapel situated on the hill overlooking the sea. St Catherine is the patron saint of spinsters and a prayer in the chapel on the wall must be said to ask the for help finding a husband!! The Tank Museum Bovington
This is a museum is the home of the Royal Tank Regiment and Royal Armoured Corps. There are four powerful exhibitions and a chance of hands on experience with the army and The Rifles .
Monkey World Wareham

Kingston Maurward Gardens and Animal Park

This National Trust Property is the largest of the islands in Poole Harbour. Famous for its red squirrels and wildlife and has spectacular views over Poole Harbour to the Purbeck coastline and hills.
